In the first part of her performance trilogy- "post hoc"- Simone Carneiro takes a stance
on the passage of primitive innocence. By positioning a metal sheep sculpture on a
pedestal and releasing live sheep amongst the audience, she alludes to the development
of culture, economics, centralized administrations, hierarchical ideologies and depersonalized
systems of knowledge. This piece sets the stage and takes the spectator a step further
towards deciphering the core intent and interconnections of the performance series, namely,
depicting human history as something lost and found in it's own future.
